Rite of passage

One year between agreement and marriage. Use it well.

The year after Om’Anayr begins is not waiting time. It is formation time: discipline, household preparation, leadership, management, and proof.

For the young man

Train to become a husband who can lead without bullying, provide without panic, protect without recklessness, and carry responsibility without complaint.

Leadership

Learn command, mission, planning, standards, and calm decision-making.

Competence

Trades, money, maintenance, security awareness, health, and family logistics.

Self-command

Control appetite, anger, laziness, distraction, and cowardice.

For the young woman

Train to become a wife who can manage, build, mentor, discern, preserve, organize, educate, and strengthen the living family.

Household management

Budgeting, food, order, schedules, preservation, clothing, and domestic systems.

Education

Teach children, manage books, train habits, and protect attention.

Wisdom

Discern character, negotiate terms, know limits, and hold standards.

Marriage should not be the beginning of training. Marriage should be entered by people already under discipline.
